Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes. Our services are provided at no cost to the individuals and families we serve. If you need support, advocacy, interpretation, or help connecting with community resources, we're here to help.
Healthcare providers, schools, businesses, and other organizations may contract with ESC for professional interpretation services. Those fees help support our work in the community.
-
Our services are available to immigrant and refugee neighbors, and anyone in need is welcome to reach out. If we aren't the right organization to help, we'll do our best to connect you with the right resources.
-
We provide bilingual advocacy, interpretation, referrals, community programs, and connections to resources related to healthcare, housing, education, employment, legal resources, applications, and more.
-
Our bilingual advocates currently provide services in Spanish and Chuukese, the two most common languages requested in our community.
If you need support in another language, please contact us and we'll do our best to connect you with the right resources.
-
Walk-ins are welcome during office hours, and you're always welcome to call or email us with questions before you visit. Our team is available Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

We serve immigrant and refugee neighbors throughout Cowlitz County, including Longview, Kelso, Woodland, and Kalama, and extend support into neighboring Lewis and Clark counties.
We also travel to partner locations and, when needed, provide services in parts of the Portland area.

We're always looking to build relationships with volunteers, healthcare providers, schools, nonprofits, businesses, and community organizations. Visit our Get Involved page or contact us to learn more.
